It shall be the responsibility of the holder of the license for the massage facility, or the employer of any persons purporting to act as massagist, to ensure that each person employed as a massagist shall first have obtained a valid license pursuant to the provisions of M.C.L. §§ 333.17951 et seq., as amended. All other employees who work closely with massage activities shall provide annually the medical certificate required under § 116.23.
