Sec. 8-132. Animals for sale.
   (a)   It shall be unlawful for a person to sell, exchange, barter, give away, or offer to sell, exchange barter or give away any animal from a public street, alley, easement, or right-of-way, or from property owned or controlled by a local, county, state or federal governmental entity within the city or other applicable ACD jurisdiction.
   (b)   It shall be unlawful for a person to sell, exchange, barter, give away, or offer to sell, exchange, barter, or give away any animal on, in, upon, through or from any premises or space upon any private property within the city unless the person resides at such property or has a legal right of occupancy to such property for a period of six months for the purpose of conducting such transactions.
   (c)   It shall be unlawful for a person to sell, exchange, barter, give away, or offer to sell, exchange, barter, or give away a dangerous animal within the city or other applicable jurisdiction of the ACD.
   (d)   It shall be unlawful for a person to sell, exchange, barter, give away, or offer to sell, exchange, barter, or give away a dangerous dog within the city or other applicable ACD jurisdiction except in compliance with section 8-187(4).
