(A) Every house or building in the city limits shall display the house number in a location visible from the road upon which the address number is assigned.
(B) The numbers displayed on the house shall be visible from at least 50 feet and the view of the numbers not be blocked by trees or shrubs.
(C) Numbers may be displayed on a mailbox as long as the numbers are of reflective material, are four inches, are placed on contrasting colors and are visible from at least 50 feet.
(D) Numbers may be placed on a private sign or post at the entrance to the driveway, at a height of three feet to four feet.
(E) Numbers should be at least three inches high (preferably four inches) and be made of reflective material.
(F) The color of the numbers should be contrasting colors from the background color of the building or post.
(G) State law allows daily fines for all properties not in compliance.
(H) This section will be enforced to the fullest extent of the law.
(I) The city will supply the house numbers, and furthermore will have volunteers for the city to install the numbers for those persons requesting the city’s assistance.
