§ 90.01 KEEPING OF CERTAIN ANIMALS PROHIBITED.
   (A)   Definitions. For the purpose of this section, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
      DANGEROUS OR VICIOUS ANIMAL. Any animal that, as determined by an enforcement officer, constitutes a physical threat to human beings or other animals, or any animal that is known to have attacked or injured a person or other animal on a previous occasion.
      FARM ANIMALS. Cattle, cows, horses, sheep, swine, lambs, goats, poultry and any other animals generally used in agriculture.
      NOISY ANIMALS. One that by loud and frequent barking, howling, yelping or other animal noises disturbs the peace and quiet or which shall disturb or interrupt other persons in the full use and enjoyment of their property.
      WILD ANIMAL. One that cannot be purchased or obtained legally or that requires a special permit, or any animal that would not be harbored by any person were it not for the animal’s capture.
   (B)   Unlawful animals.
      (1)   It is unlawful to keep, harbor, maintain or possess dangerous, vicious, farm, noisy or wild animals in the Town of Beverly Shores.
      (2)   It is unlawful and is declared a nuisance to keep, harbor, maintain or possess dangerous, vicious, farm, noisy or wild animals in the Town of Beverly Shores.
