2-1-7: QUORUM:
A majority of the council shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business. Less than a quorum may adjourn from time to time. When there is no quorum for a meeting, the mayor, vice mayor, or any council member shall adjourn such meeting, or, if no council member is present, the city clerk shall adjourn the meeting. (1962 Code § 2-3.08)
