5-6-1001: INTERFERENCE WITH PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS PROHIBITED:
It shall be unlawful for any person to plant, move, remove, damage, trim, or interfere with any tree, shrub, vegetation, or planting of any character or with any post, lighting standard, foundation, or improvement whatsoever in any public parkway, park, or on any public land or move, remove, damage, or interfere with any post, lighting standard, foundation, or improvement of any character in any public park, parkway, street alley, sidewalk, or any other public land or place in the city, unless expressly authorized by the city. ARTICLE 11. RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY LIGHTING
5-6-1101: EXCESSIVE LIGHTING PROHIBITED:
It shall be unlawful for any person, except governmental agencies, to install, use, or maintain any lighting which creates an intensity of light on residential property which is greater than one foot-candle above ambient light level; and provided further, all permissive lighting shall be arranged to focus on the property from which it originates, and shall not directly reflect upon any adjacent residential property.
