Nothing in this chapter shall prohibit the City from using specialized contracting procedures when authorized by state law. If state law authorizes such procedures, they need not also be specifically authorized by this chapter. Such specialized procedures may include, without limitation, prequalification of general contractors or subcontractors and design/build contracting procedures. (Ord. 06-O-2504, eff. 10-20-2006; amd.
