At the time and place fixed for the hearing, the Board of Zoning Adjustments shall hear such relevant evidence as may be presented, either for or against the application, in accordance with such rules of procedure as may be established by the Board of Zoning Adjustments; provided, however, at the time and place fixed for the hearing or continued hearing, the hearing may be continued or further continued for a period of not to exceed five (5) weeks at any one time, and no further notice of such continued hearing need be given.
