Projecting signs in the C-5 zone may serve as business identification signs, but not building identification signs. No portion of a projecting sign shall be less than eight feet (8') above the finished grade below such sign. No projecting sign shall be more than six inches (6") in thickness, nor project more than thirty inches (30") from the wall to which it is attached.
