10-3-1615: AUTOMOBILE PAINT SHOPS; RESTRICTIONS:
Notwithstanding any other provision of this chapter, and in addition to the requirements of section 10-3-1604 of this article, automobile paint shops shall be permitted only if enclosed in a building and if all painting is conducted more than seventy five feet (75') from any window or door in the exterior wall of such building and the building is equipped with an effective and efficient exhaust fan sufficient to collect all paint particles, fumes, and excess paint spray, precipitate all solid matter inside the building, and exhaust the air and odor at such height, in such direction, and in such a matter that it shall not be or become noisy, offensive, or an annoyance to persons outside the building in which the automobile paint shop is located.
