There is hereby adopted by reference the 1997 edition of the Uniform Housing Code published by the International Conference of Building Officials, except for chapter 16; and the sections and chapters of the state housing law under which local agencies act as the enforcement authority, except for such portions as amended by section 9-1-902 of this article.
