Terms used in this code, unless specifically defined otherwise in another section, shall have the meanings ascribed to them as follows:
CITY OR THIS CITY: The city of Bettendorf, Iowa, and extending to its several officers, agents and employees.
CODE: The city code of Bettendorf, Iowa.
COUNCIL: The city council of Bettendorf, Iowa.
COUNTY: Scott County, Iowa.
IC: Iowa Code, as amended.
PERSON: Shall include and be applied to corporations, associations, clubs, societies, firms, partnerships, municipalities and bodies politic and corporate as well as to individuals.
