8-1-3: USE OF HYDRANTS:
Hydrants may be opened by a member of the fire department in the case of fire or for other fire department purposes. The city may designate other employees who may also be permitted to open hydrants in accordance with the rules of the utility supplying the water. (2008 Code § 31-12)
