A. Owner To Repair: It shall be the duty of any property owner to repair a broken water service line up to and including the tap or intersecting fitting; this does not apply to public water supply mains.
B. Repair By City; Assessment Of Cost: In the event that a water service line is not repaired within a reasonable length of time, to be determined by the administrative authority, the city may repair same and assess the actual cost thereof against the property. (2008 Code § 31-1)
