A. Fee Amount; Franchise Holders Exempt:
1. The fee for each excavation permit, which permit shall be for a single project involving continuous work requiring excavation in the right of way of any street or alley, shall be pursuant to the fee schedule adopted from time to time by resolution of the city council. 2. Holders of valid utility franchises which specifically exempt that utility from a permit fee are exempt from this section. (2008 Code § 27-99)
B. Exception For Other Permit; Bond: No fee shall be charged for an excavation permit if the applicant secures, at the same time and for the same purpose of excavation another required permit; provided, however, the applicant has on file with the clerk, a properly executed bond for the work to be performed. (2008 Code § 27-100)
