2-4A-2: APPOINTMENT AND POWERS:
   A.   Appointment; Terms: The members of the board of appeals shall be appointed by the mayor subject to council approval and shall serve a two (2) year term.
   B.   Powers And Authority:
      1.   The board shall have the power to decide questions of interpretation of the various building, fire and residential codes, and the various city departments shall be bound thereby. (2008 Code § 2-62; amd. 2015 Code)
      2.   The board may make recommendations to the council on changes to any code within its purview. (2008 Code § 2-62)
