A. Permit Required: It shall be unlawful to place or deposit any building material in any street without a written permit from the community development director, subject to revocation by the council, to use part of the street in front of or adjacent to the lot whereon a building is being erected, for depositing thereon the material for the building.
B. Obstructing Gutters Prohibited: All material shall be placed in such a manner as not to obstruct the gutters.
C. Guarding Obstruction: The person occupying a portion of a street subject to this section shall at all times enclose or guard the same in such a manner as to protect the public. Lighted barricades shall be placed thereon and kept burning at night. (2008 Code § 27-32; amd. 2015 Code)
