A. Transporting Dirt Or Fill: When construction activity requires transport of earthmoving equipment or dirt or fill across city streets and sidewalks, no dirt shall be allowed to remain on streets or sidewalks as a result of such movement.
B. Removal Of Dirt; Responsibility: When dirt or other material is left on sidewalks or streets as a result of activities as described in subsection A of this section, the dirt or other material shall be immediately removed by the person actually placing the dirt on city streets or sidewalks, by the employer of such a person, by the general contractor at the site of the construction activity, and/or by the owner of the property being developed. The responsibility affixed by this section shall be joint and several to the parties listed.
C. Violation; Penalty: Failure to clean up shall subject the parties to the municipal infraction penalties of this code. (2008 Code § 27-23)
