A. Serving Without Compensation: Persons appointed to any board shall serve without compensation therefor.
B. Appointments To Vacancies:
1. Appointments to vacancies on a board shall be deemed to fill the unexpired term for which the appointment is made.
2. The mayor shall appoint to fill any vacancy subject to approval by the council.
C. Expiration Of Term: In the event a member's term expires, the member shall hold over until a successor is appointed.
D. Authority To Establish Rules And Regulations: All boards shall have authority to establish rules and regulations governing the procedures used by the board. (2008 Code § 2-60)
