YARD: An open space on a lot which shall be unoccupied and unobstructed by structures, except as otherwise permitted, and extends along a lot line and at right angles to such lot line to a depth or width specified in the yard regulations for the zoning district in which such lot is located.
   1.    Front Yard: The space extending the full width of a lot and measured between the front lot line and the required setback line. For a corner lot, the front yard shall normally be defined as that yard along a street which meets one of the following two criteria:
      a.    The yard along the block face to which a greater number of structures are oriented, or
      b.    The yard along a street that has the smaller horizontal dimension.
   2.    Rear Yard: A yard extending across the full width of the lot between the rear lot line and the line nearest the rear of and across a lot establishing the minimum open space to be provided between the front line of a building or structure and the rear lot line.
   3.    Side Yard: A yard extending from the front yard or from the front lot line where no front yard is required, to the rear yard or the rear lot line where no rear yard is required between the side lot line and the line nearest the side of a lot establishing the minimum open space to be provided between the side of the principal building or structure and the side lot line.
