A. Authority Of Chief: In case of fire or other emergencies, poles, wires and street fixtures may be cut and removed, or the electrical current may be cut off by order of the fire chief without any liability or expense on the part of the city or the fire chief.
B. Notice: If it is possible to do so, the owner of the utility or property affected, or employees in charge, shall be previously notified of the necessity of removing the poles, wires and fixtures or of cutting off the electrical current. (2008 Code § 11-47)
