5-2-13: DESTRUCTION OF DANGEROUS BUILDINGS:
The fire chief has the power, with the consent of the council, and after providing notice and opportunity to the owner to be heard, to tear down any portion of any building that may be standing after a fire, which they shall find may be dangerous to persons or property. (2008 Code § 11-46)
