In all cases of violations of the provisions of this chapter regulating the standing or parking of vehicles, such parking violations which are admitted may be charged and collected upon a notice of fine, payable to the city clerk. Such violations which are not admitted or the fine paid within seven (7) days after the date of the violation shall be deemed denied, and the violations shall be prosecuted the same as any other violation of this code. The date of the notice of fine shall be presumptive evidence of the date of the violation. (2008 Code § 17-139)
