3-12-6: DENIAL, SUSPENSION OR REVOCATION OF LICENSE:
   A.   Suspension Or Revocation; Notice; Hearing: Licenses granted pursuant to this chapter may be suspended or revoked at any time by the mayor or by the council for violation of any provision of this chapter or for any cause deemed sufficient by the council. The revocation of any license is sufficient cause for the mayor to deny the issuance of another license under this chapter to the same licensee. If the issuance of any license is denied or if a license is revoked by the mayor, the mayor shall immediately give the applicant or licensee written notice of such action and specify a time, not more than five (5) days after the notice, for a hearing before the mayor and city council, at which time the applicant or licensee may show cause and be heard in behalf of the granting or restoring of such license.
   B.   Rendering Decision: If proper showing is made at the hearing, the mayor and city council shall order the license issued or restored. (2008 Code § 30-5; amd. 2015 Code)
