6-1-6: CROSSING GUARDS; ESTABLISHED, DUTY TO OBEY:
The Chief of Police shall have the authority to assign crossing guards to duty at such times and places as he may deem necessary for the protection of children proceeding to and from school. No person shall disobey the traffic control instructions of a crossing guard in the performance of their duty. (2008 Code § 17-6)
