6-1-5: ARREST PROCEDURES NOT EXCLUSIVE:
The provisions of this chapter governing arrest shall govern a peace officer in making arrests without a warrant for violation of any of the provisions of this chapter committed in his presence, but the procedure prescribed shall not be exclusive of any other method prescribed by law for the arrest and prosecution of a person. (2008 Code § 17-5)
