6-1-4: APPEARANCES; FAILURE TO APPEAR AN OFFENSE:
Any person wilfully violating a summons to appear in court as provided in this chapter is guilty of an offense, regardless of the disposition of the charge upon which he was summoned. An appearance in response to a summons may be made either in person or by counsel. (2008 Code § 17-4)
