§ 95.023 IMPOUNDMENT.
   (A)   It shall be the duty of the animal control officer, upon receipt of a verified complaint as outlined in § 95.022, to cause the animal involved to be impounded pending a determination as required by this subchapter.
   (B)   Any and all expenses associated with the impounding including shelter, food, handling and veterinary care shall be born by the owner of the animal during the period of impoundment.
