§ 73.01 APPLICABILITY; REGULATIONS AND TRAFFIC LAW.
   (A)   The provisions of this chapter shall apply whenever a bicycle is operated upon any street or upon any public way, subject to those exceptions stated in this chapter. (Prior Code, § 16-1501)
   (B)   Every person riding a bicycle upon a roadway shall be granted all the rights and shall be subject to all the duties applicable to the driver of a vehicle by the laws of the state and the traffic provisions of this code applicable to the driver of a vehicle, except as to special regulations in this chapter and except as to those provisions of laws and ordinances, which by their nature, are inapplicable to the persons.
