(A) This chapter shall be known and may be cited as the "Zoning Chapter of the City of Bethany." It may also be referred to as the "zoning ordinance".
(B) It is enacted pursuant to the authority granted by the State Legislature and the Charter of the city.
(C) The provisions of this zoning ordinance apply to all public and private use and development of properties within the corporate limits of the City of Bethany, except as provided by state or federal law or a as otherwise expressly stated in this zoning ordinance.
(D) The provisions of this zoning ordinance become effective on August 6, 2019, except as otherwise expressly stated.
