§ 1490.04 NOTICE TO OCCUPANT; REINFESTATION.
   Upon receipt of a written notice or order from the President of the Board of Health, the occupant of a building shall proceed with the eradication work, poisoning, trapping, harborage removal, fumigation or other measures necessary to free the building of rats in a manner and under the conditions approved by the President of the Board and shall continue the work until the building is freed of rats. The occupant shall free the building of rats and maintain the building in a ratfree condition thereafter. If the building becomes reinfested with rats through accident or otherwise, the occupant shall proceed with approved measures to again free it of rats. If the occupant fails to comply with the directions and terms of the written notice or order from the President of the Board, he or she is guilty of a violation of this section. The President of the Board may order the building quarantined and prohibit any person from entering the building in the same manner as provided for in § 1490.03.
