Before the permit required in § 1468.01 is issued, the applicant therefor shall execute and deliver to the City Collector a bond in the penal sum of $50,000 running to the city. The sureties shall be approved by the Mayor and the Director of Finance. The bond shall be conditioned upon the applicant’s compliance with these Codified Ordinances and all other ordinances of the city; the payment and indemnifying of the city against all damages, losses, payments, judgments, costs and claims occasioned by the applicant in or connected with the moving of the building; and the repair, restoration and payment of all damages to any tree, pavement, sidewalk or other property of the city caused by or in connection with the moving of the building.
