(A) The fee for the license required in § 847.02 is as set forth in § 801.13(OO). However, if an affidavit is made by the applicant for a hospital license that the hospital during the previous calendar year has given to its patients not less than 10% of its general average capacity of bed days for the calendar year free of charge of any sort, then an inquiry shall be made by the Mayor into the facts set forth in the affidavit, and, at his or her discretion, the license fee may be remitted.
(B) As used in this section,
BED DAY means the use of one bed for one day and its proportionate use of equipment, maintenance, food, medicine and doctor and nurse care.
