(A) The Police Department shall, from time to time, inspect each garage licensed as required in this chapter for the purpose of inquiring into the number of vehicles kept in a garage to be let for hire or reward and for the purpose of inquiring whether the provisions of this chapter are being observed by the garage keeper. Any member of the Department may enter any garage so licensed at any time when the garage is open for business for the purpose of carrying out and enforcing the provisions of this chapter.
(B) The Mayor shall inspect or cause to be inspected every place used as a garage, and if he or she is satisfied that the business is conducted in violation of any of the provisions of this chapter or any ordinance of the city, or in a manner threatening the public health or safety, he or she may revoke the license upon giving notice in writing to the licensee to that effect.
