Fees for licenses issued under this chapter, as specified in § 801.13(A), shall be paid to the City Collector at the time license applications are made, and shall be forthwith turned over to the City Treasurer. If a license applied for is denied, then the fee therefor shall be returned to the applicant. If the license is granted, then the fee shall be deposited to the credit of the General Corporate Fund or in such other fund as designated by proper action of Council.
