The Director of Public Works shall cause parking meters to be installed in parking meter zones in the numbers and at such places as, in his or her judgment, may be necessary for the regulation, control and inspection of the parking of vehicles therein, including the reservation of loading zones for commercial vehicles. The Director shall cause parking meter spaces to be designated as provided in § 482.05.
