§ 234.001 COMPOSITION; OFFICE OF FIRE CHIEF.

(A) The Fire Department of the city shall consist of a Fire Chief, an Assistant Fire Chief, four Deputy Fire Chiefs, a Training Officer (Lieutenant), 12 Fire Lieutenants, 12 engineers and 36 firefighters.

(B) There is hereby established the office of Fire Chief. This office shall be appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the City Council.
