There is hereby established an executive department of the city which shall be known as the Department of Public Works. The Department shall consist of the Director of Public Works, the Director of Buildings, the Superintendent of Streets, the Superintendent of Water, the Electrical Inspector, the Plumbing Inspector and other personnel as may from time to time, by ordinance, be prescribed and established and placed under the jurisdiction of the Department of Public Works.
