(A) Generally. The pay period for the town shall be monthly. Compensation of elected officers of the town shall be as provided by the ordinances of the town. The compensation of other officers and employees shall be set by motion or resolution.
(B) Town Clerk-Treasurer; Court Clerk. The town’s Clerk-Treasurer shall perform all the duties and responsibilities of the town’s Clerk-Treasurer as set forth in § 32.01 of this chapter. Compensation for the performance of these duties shall be $1,604 each month. The town’s Clerk-Treasurer also serves as the town’s Court Clerk pursuant to § 34.06 of this code. Compensation for the performance of the Court Clerk’s duties shall be $1,150 each month. The compensation described in this division (B) shall be paid in equal amounts of $1,377 on the first and fifteenth day of each month.
