§ 74.03 PARKING PROHIBITED IN SPECIFIED PLACES.
   (A)   No person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle, except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance with law or the directions of a police officer or traffic-control device, in any of the following places:
      (1)   On a sidewalk;
      (2)   In front of a public or private driveway;
      (3)   Within 15 feet of a fire hydrant, or if in an area serviced by a volunteer fire department, within 30 feet of a fire hydrant if the governing body of the area so adopts by ordinance;
      (4)   Within an intersection;
      (5)   On a crosswalk;
      (6)   Within 20 feet of a crosswalk at an intersection;
      (7)   Within 30 feet upon the approach to any flashing beacon, stop sign or traffic-control signal located at the side of a roadway;
      (8)   Between a safety zone and the adjacent curb or within 30 feet of points on the curb immediately opposite the ends of a safety zone, unless the authority having jurisdiction indicates a different length by signs or marking;
      (9)   Within 50 feet of the nearest rail of a railroad crossing;
      (10)   Within 20 feet of the driveway entrance to any fire station and on the side of a street opposite the entrance to any fire station within 75 feet of said entrance (when properly signposted);
      (11)   Alongside or opposite any street excavation or obstruction when stopping, standing or parking would obstruct traffic;
      (12)   On the roadway side of any vehicle stopped or parked at the edge or curb of a street;
      (13)   Upon any bridge or other elevated structure upon a highway or within a highway underpass; and
      (14)   At any place where official signs prohibit stopping.
   (B)   No person shall move a vehicle not lawfully under the control of the person into any prohibited area or away from a curb such distance as is unlawful.

§ 74.04 GENERAL PARKING RESTRICTIONS.
   (A)   Obstructing traffic or driveways.
      (1)   No person shall park any vehicle upon a street or alley in such a manner or under such conditions as to leave available less than ten feet of the width of the roadway for free movement of vehicular traffic.
      (2)   No person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle within a street or alley in such position as to block the driveway entrance to any abutting property.
   (B)   Selling merchandise from parked vehicle. It is unlawful for any person to park any vehicle upon a street in the town and offer merchandise for sale therefrom. In addition to the penalty provided in this traffic, the sale of merchandise from parked vehicles on streets in the town is declared to be dangerous to traffic and to the persons congregating around the vehicle and constitutes a public nuisance.

§ 74.05 PARKING IN AREAS DESIGNATED FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES.
   It shall be unlawful for any person to place or park a motor vehicle in any parking space, van accessible parking space side-striped area, wheelchair ramp, wheelchair unloading area or any portion thereof that is designated and posted as a reserved area for the parking of a motor vehicle operated by or transporting a physically disabled person unless such person has applied for and been issued a detachable insignia indicating physical disability under the provisions of 47 O.S. § 15-112, and such insignia is displayed as provided in said § 15-112 or in rules adopted pursuant thereto, or has applied for and been issued a physically disabled special license plate pursuant to the provisions of 47 O.S. § 1136, paragraph 8, and such license plate is displayed pursuant to the provisions of the state’s Vehicle License and Registration Act. Vehicles unlawfully parked in van accessible side-striped areas, whether with or without a physically disabled placard or plate, shall be subject to immediate tow and storage at the expense of the vehicle owner.

§ 74.06 PARKING LARGE VEHICLES.
   (A)   The parking of trucks, trailers, recreational vehicles, industrial tractors, mowers and other related equipment and any vehicle exceeding two axles on any street or alley within a district zoned residential is prohibited, except for the immediate loading or unloading of persons or materials.
   (B)   No commercial truck exceeding two axles or in excess of a length of 15 feet, or both, shall be allowed to park in any area of the town zoned as a residential district.

§ 74.07 LOADING ZONES.
   (A)   Designation. The Board of Trustees may determine the location of passenger and freight curb loading zones and shall place and maintain appropriate signs indicating the same and stating the hours during which the provisions of this section are applicable.
   (B)   Standing in loading zone.
      (1)   No person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle for any purpose or period of time other than for the expeditious loading or unloading of passengers in any place marked as a passenger curb loading zone during hours when the regulations applicable to such curb loading zone are effective, and then only for a period not to exceed three minutes.
      (2)   No person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle for any purpose or length of time other than for the expeditious unloading and delivery or pick up and loading of materials in any place marked as a freight curb loading zone during hours when the provisions applicable to such zones are in effect. In no case shall the stop for loading and unloading of materials exceed 30 minutes.
      (3)   The driver of a passenger vehicle may stop temporarily at a place marked as a freight curb loading zone for the purpose of, and while actually engaged in, loading or unloading passengers, when such stopping does not interfere with any motor vehicle used for the transportation of materials which is waiting to enter or about to enter the zone.
