(A) Application for registration may be obtained from the Animal Control Officer or the Police Department. Registration shall include name of owner, registration number, description and photo of animal, proof of rabies vaccination.
(B) Registration is to be issued for a term of one year, commencing with the date of issuance.
(C) Upon issuance, the Animal Control Officer shall issue a registration in written form that includes the number of the registration. In addition, the Animal Control Officer shall issue a durable tag stamped with the registration number and year of issuance for each pertinent registration.
(D) The Animal Control Officer shall maintain records of the identifying registration/permit number.
