Any person who by himself or by his clerk, agent or employee, shall conduct the business of a junk dealer without the license required by this chapter, or shall violate any of the provisions of this chapter, or who having had his license revoked, shall continue as a junk dealer, is guilty of a minor misdemeanor for each day during which the violation shall continue.
In addition to the penalties imposed, the license of the convicted person shall be cancelled or revoked, and the bond shall be forfeited. Upon such forfeiture the amount of the bond shall thereupon become due and payable to the City to be recovered in an action based upon such forfeiture.
