535.14 DAILY REPORT TO POLICE CHIEF OF TRANSACTIONS; EXCEPTIONS.
   Every licensed junk dealer handling junk motor vehicles or parts thereof shall deliver or cause to be delivered to the Police Chief every day except Sunday, before the hour of 12:00 noon, a copy of the records required to be kept under Section 535.13, and such other information as the Police Chief may require, of the secondhand motor vehicles, parts and accessories acquired, wrecked or left in his possession for sale, storage, remodeling or wreckage on the preceding day, or, if that day is Sunday, on the two next preceeding days. Each report shall be signed at the bottom by the licensee or his representative. The Police Chief shall cause a record to be kept of all the reports, showing the data and time each report is received, the licensee making the report and his address. Upon obtaining written consent of the Police Chief, except as to tires of motor vehicles, any licensee may dispense with making a report to the Chief, relative to transactions covered herein as to any of such parts or accessories whose original value did not exceed the sum of ten dollars ($10.00).
