The building sewer shall be of best quality and approved by the Building Inspector or City Engineer. The joints shall be made watertight by a method approved by the Building Inspector. In order to permit ventilation of the public sewer and building sewer, no trap shall be placed in the house sewer. After the sewer is installed and before it is covered, it shall be inspected and approved by the Building Inspector.
