(a) An application for a certificate of occupancy shall be accompanied by a nonrefundable fee of fifteen dollars ($15.00) for each dwelling unit. However, the fee for any one building shall not exceed eight hundred dollars ($800.00).
(b) The fee for a certificate of occupancy for a new structure issued after June 30 of any year for the remainder of such calendar year shall be nonrefundable and shall be seven dollars and fifty cents ($7.50) for each dwelling unit. However, the fee for any one such new building shall not exceed four hundred dollars ($400.00).
