(a) Application for a certificate of occupancy, required by the provisions of this Housing Code, shall be made annually by supplying the information and data needed to determine compliance with applicable laws, ordinances, rules and regulations for the existing or intended use or occupancy. Forms for application shall be supplied by the Building Inspector.
(b) The Building Inspector may require the submission of an affidavit stating such information and he may cause a general inspection of the structure or premises to be made.
