Approval of the preliminary plat shall be effective for a period of six (6) months. Should a final plat not be submitted for approval within this time limit, the preliminary plat shall again be submitted to the community development commission for approval, unless an extension is applied for by the subdivider and such request is granted in writing by the community development commission.
