2-1-1: COMMISSION CREATED:
There is hereby created a Community Development Commission to function as the Zoning Board of Appeals and Plan Commission. Its duties are as set forth hereafter in subsections 2-1-1A and B.
   A.   Zoning Board Of Appeals: There be and is hereby established a Zoning Board of Appeals as authorized by the comprehensive amendment to the zoning ordinance adopted September 29, 1964 and as amended December 17, 1991.
   B.   Plan Commission: There is hereby established the Community Development Commission to function as the Plan Commission with duties as follows:
      1.   Prepare and recommend to the Board of Trustees a comprehensive plan for the present and future development of the Village;
      2.   Recommend changes from time to time in the official comprehensive plan;
      3.   Prepare and recommend to the Board of Trustees from time to time plans for specific improvements in pursuance of the official comprehensive plan;
      4.   Give aid to municipal officials charged with the direction of projects for improvements embraced within the official plan, to further the making of these projects, and generally, to promote the realization of the official comprehensive plan;
      5.   Prepare regulations, projects and programs pertinent to the development, redevelopment and renewal of the Village and such surrounding territory over which the Village exercises subdivision jurisdiction;
      6.   Perform such duties provided for the Plan Commission in the comprehensive amendment to the zoning ordinance of the Village dated December 17, 1991. (Ord. 1-95, 1-3-1995)
