5-2-3: BUS STANDS AND TAXICAB STANDS:
   A.   The Director of Public Works shall designate bus stands and taxicab stands on such streets and in such places and in such manner as has been or shall hereafter be determined by the Village Board and such bus stands or taxicab stands shall be designated by appropriate signs or markings.
   B.   It shall be unlawful for any operator of any bus to stop, stand or park any such vehicle at any place other than a bus stand, except for the expeditious loading and unloading of passengers, or when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance with the directions of a police officer or traffic sign or signal.
   C.   It shall be unlawful for any operator of any taxicab to stop, stand or park any such vehicle at any place other than a taxicab stand, except for the expeditious loading or unloading of passengers, or when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance with the directions of a police officer or traffic sign or signal.
   D.   It shall be unlawful for the operator of any vehicle, other than a bus, to stand or park such vehicle in any duly established bus stand, or for the operator of any vehicle other than a taxicab to stand or park in a duly established taxicab stand, except that the operator of any passenger vehicle may temporarily stop at such stand for the purpose of and while actually engaged in loading or unloading of passengers.
