§ 152.01 BUILDING CODE ADOPTED BY REFERENCE.
   To provide certain minimum standards, provisions, and requirements for safe and stable design, methods of construction, and uses of materials in buildings hereafter erected, constructed, enlarged, altered, repaired, relocated, and converted, the International Building Code, 2018 Edition, recommended by the American Insurance Association, and printed in book or pamphlet form is hereby incorporated by reference in addition to all amended editions as though printed in full herein insofar as said Code does not conflict with the statutes of the state. Three copies of the Building Code are on file at the office of the City Clerk and are available for public inspection at any reasonable time. The provisions of the Building Code shall be controlling throughout the municipality and throughout its zoning jurisdiction.

   To provide certain minimum standards, provisions, and requirements for safe and stable design, methods of construction, and uses of materials in houses hereafter erected, constructed, enlarged, altered, repaired, relocated, and converted, the International Housing Code, 2018 Edition, published by the International Conference of Building Officials, and printed in book or pamphlet form, is hereby incorporated by reference in addition to all amended editions as though printed in full herein insofar as said Code does not conflict with the statutes of the state. Three copies of the Housing Code are on file at the office of the City Clerk and are available for public inspection at any reasonable time. The provisions of the Housing Code shall be controlling throughout the municipality and throughout its zoning jurisdiction.
